THE STUDIO
WhiteBeam Photography is a state of the art, purpose built photographic studio set on the cobbled streets of Kimberley. The studio was officially opened by the Mayor of Broxtowe on the 22nd Aug 2018.
It took 6 months to transform, what was originally a ground floor call centre in a quirky 3 storey building with exposed outdoor storage rooms, into an incredible state of the art photography studio.

Why WhiteBeam?When I first started in photography, I struggled to find a name that was different and hadn't already been used.
To begin with, all my photos were coming out high key and very white. I was determined to achieve a bright white backdrop (which was more difficult to master than it looked). I spent many days watching videos on how to make my backdrops white without turning everybody else into a Ghost! White represents white backdrop high key lighting and the balance of light. Beam represents many things in photography including 'Smile' and 'Line of light' (beam of light). WB is a reference to White Balance (which plays a huge part in photography). And then...
